Job Summary As a Personal Support Worker/Caregiver, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and support. Reporting to the Care Coordinator, you’ll deliver services that meet each client’s unique needs in a safe and caring environment.
Assist with morning and evening care routines. Meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a comfortable home environment. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist clients with ambulation, outings, and errands. Support with medication reminders and basic health tasks. Follow and update care plans as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and charting. Help clients manage daily activities with care and dignity.
Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (e.g., foreign-trained nurse). Current CPR/First Aid Certification. Vulnerable Sector Screening or willingness to obtain one. Negative TB test or chest X-ray. minimum 2 doses of covid vaccinations. Reliable internet access and a mobile phone.
