They rely on compassionate and dependable individuals like you to assist them with: Assistance in fun and leisure outings!
Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).
Ensuring client safety while participating in community and home based activities.
Redirecting, behaviour management and elopement concerns.
Engaging the client in functional activities in community and home based activities.
Other care tasks include: organization, meal preparation, transportation, emotional support, hygiene care/support, and other daily tasks.
You would be the ideal candidate to work with us if you are someone who is reliable, organized, and can work independently.
Care is tailored to each person, so each position is unique.
Some clients need mainly in-home support.
Others require support participating in community activities.
Whatever the circumstances, we want people who will genuinely care about their wellbeing.
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Smartphone with a data plan Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months Assets: University and/or College education in a related field Driver’s License “G” class with access to a vehicle Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCI) Hours: One shift weekly for 7 or 8 hours each shift
