In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position promotes a safe environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Under the direction of a Radiologist performs computed tomography (CT) procedures. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, Nights, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 10:00 to 18:00, 16:00 to 23:59, 23:30 to 07:30 (rotating) Qualfications
Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program for Computed Tomography. Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT. Skills and Abilities:

Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and a commitment to excellence in the provision of client care.
Equipment: Demonstrated data analysis skills including appropriate data analysis and reporting tools. Demonstrated ability in the use of e-mail and word processing. Ability to operate other related equipment as required in the specific practice area.
