Bachelors in Nursing is preferred. Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required. Perioperative Nursing Certificate required. Perioperative Certification CPN(c) an asset. BCLS certification required. Previous minor surgical perioperative experience preferred. Demonstrates initiative and ability to function both independently and as a team member in a fast paced demanding environment. Excellent assessment and organizational skills. Computer skills/and Perioperative Information system experience. Demonstrated record of good performance and acceptable attendance will be considered as part of the selection criteria Professional behavior and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women’s College Hospital. This position plays a critical role in acting as an advocate for patients and will demonstrate principles, practices and processes for safe, equitable care for all patients populations.
