What do you offer?
The Housing Support Office operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and provides programs and services for those with Affordable / Social Housing needs. Over 2000 individuals take part in programs including Supportive Housing, Family Shelter, and Transitional Housing for youth and women, counseling, and referral. The Case Manager role serves women, men and families.
Providing general information to individuals and agencies regarding eligibility for housing in the Y’s Housing Services.
Scheduling and conducting interviews with housing applicants.
Developing and maintaining individual goal plans with assigned clients.
Providing case management, counselling support, crisis intervention, and referrals for clients.
Providing life and social skills workshops.
Maintaining standards for reporting and operating procedures.
Reporting statistical data.
Ensuring client confidentiality and that all files and records are secure.
Building and maintaining relationships with relevant agencies.
Maintaining the workplace to ensure a safe and clean environment.
