Perform routine and/or complex laboratory tests using manual procedures and automated instruments under general supervision.
Greet patients and collect and/or receive specimens.
Enter data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related computer systems/programs.
Validate and report test results in accordance with established standards of professional practice, policies, and procedures.
Maintain laboratory instruments and prepare solutions and control agents according to established procedures and safety standards.
Participate in departmental training programs across lab sections (e.g., microbiology, histology, cytology) to learn new/existing tests and procedures

Graduation from an approved Medical Laboratory Science Program. Successful completion of recognized competency assessment exam and registration in relevant field(s): Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine (Science) via CAMLPR pathways, or CSMLS certification. One (1) year recent related experience. Ability to work rotating days, evenings, and nights
