Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic OTA/PTA to join our inpatient interprofessional team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work at our Milton site supporting a variety of patient populations on our Complex Continuing Care unit. You will support Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy treatment plans.

Qualifications

Halton Healthcare is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; team players; effective communicators; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible. Graduate of combined OT/PTA Certificate course from an accredited college At least one year Hospital experience required Demonstrated excellent patient care skills with medical, surgical, neurological and geriatric caseload GPA an asset Shows initiative, flexibility and enjoys working with an interprofessional team Must be able to meet the physical demands of a moderately heavy job Excellent verbal communication skills Satisfactory attendance and employment record The ideal candidate demonstrates patient centered care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

Additional Information

Hours: Monday - Sunday, 7.5 Days (hours subject to change based on operational needs of the department) Salary: $32.491 to $37.398 per hour

Requirements
