Bachelor’s degree in social work One year's recent, related experience in a hospital setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Full registration with the BC College of Social Workers
Reporting administratively to the Manager, Clinical Services and clinically to the Clinical Practice Leader, Social Worker, the Social Worker, Long Term Care uses professional and program standards in providing psycho-social assessment, crisis intervention counselling and specific resident treatment, as well as assisting with tasks that are a cross-responsibility of all team members.
Qualifications: Education and Experience
Baccalaureate degree from an approved school of Social Work. One year's recent related experience working with the elderly in residential settings. Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers.
