Unit: Summary:
THP is a Regional Cardiac Program providing services and care in collaboration with our Regional Partners.
2C Cardiology is a 50-bed inpatient, acute care unit.
We support a wide variety of complex cardiology patients while working closely with Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Short Stay and Coronary Care Unit.
We primarily focus on medical management and minimally invasive procedures to care for our patients in their unique care needs.
We are also the primary home for post surgical care for THPs Vascular Surgery population.
We have a broad team of skilled, interdisciplinary professionals to support our patients, and ensure they receive the best care possible while in our care.

Requires registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BCLS certification, and at least one year of acute care experience in medicine, cardiac, or surgical settings. A physical assessment course is required, and completion of Coronary Care 1 is mandatory within six months.
