About the role

Provide one-to-one and group support to adults with Acquired Brain Injury, assisting with daily living, personal care, and rehabilitation. Handle reporting duties including incident reports and behavioral data collection while communicating with families and team members.

Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive.

Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible.

The opportunity: We are currently looking to fill 1 new opportunity for a Part-Time Brain Injury Support Worker position in our Langford, BC site.

Starting wage: $20.02 per hour.

Hours

Various hours per week.

Responsibilities

To provide services on a flexible basis including evenings and weekends with a priority of weekday nights (11pm-7am). Reporting responsibilities (incident reports, behavioral data collection and verbal reports) Participate in any required training Follow policies and procedures as required Provide one to one support and group support within the home and community to adults with an Acquired Brain Injury with activities of daily living, personal care, and rehabilitation planning. Communicate with consumer, family, and team members. Qualifications and experience: Post-Secondary preferred in Human and Social Services Minimum of three years’ experience in Human Services field and/or working with people with ABI. Current CARE and CPR, First Aid an asset Proven consistency in work performance, including reliability and flexibility Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills Sound behavioral management skills, cognitive problem-solving skills. Proven teamwork abilities Working knowledge of ABI and rehabilitation Ability to effectively deal with behavioral situations Ability to speak, read, and write English Deadline: Please submit your resume by July 27, 2026. Requirements

Requires a minimum of three years of experience in human services or working with ABI, with post-secondary education in Human and Social Services preferred. Must possess current CARE, CPR, and First Aid certifications and be proficient in English.
