Accountabilities: Dispensing and distribution of medications (including individual patient prescriptions, ward stock and narcotics), non-sterile and sterile compounding (including TPN, CIVA and chemotherapy preparation) inventory control Other duties as assigned
Currently licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists Hospital experience preferred Registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians preferred Experience with CIVA and/or chemotherapy preparation considered an asset Excellent oral, interpersonal and written skills Computer experience preferred Ability to work independently Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record Experience in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products preferred May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
DURATION: Approximately twelve (12) months or until the previous incumbent returns.
Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Hospital experience and registration with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians are preferred.
