To autonomously diagnose, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals and perform procedures for residents in the Long-Term Care Homes and Services Division within their legislated scope of practice.

As a condition of employment with the Senior Services & Long-Term Care Division, selected candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Police Reference Check (PRC) with vulnerable sector screening, tuberculosis screening and proof of immunization in accordance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 (O.Reg. 246/22) as well as the Basic Life Support (B.L.S) certificate.

Must be a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (NP) registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Requires experience in long-term care or acute care and certification in Geriatric Nursing or equivalent experience.
