Provide comprehensive family medicine and emergency services to the Heiltsuk Nation community at Heiltsuk Hospital and the Bella Bella Medical Clinic. Responsibilities include managing routine clinic care, acute inpatient care, and staffing the 24/7 emergency department.

As a Cook 3, you will: Plan, prepare, and direct the preparation of meals in the kitchen.

Perform related administrative duties and supervises designated staff.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Graduation from a recognized 12 month program in cooking plus two years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Successful completion of Food Safe I & II.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingAbility to deal with others effectivelyPhysical ability to carry out the duties of the positionAbility to SuperviseAbility to organize workAbility to operate related equipment. Requirements

Candidates must be licensed with the College of Physicians of BC and hold mandatory ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. CCFP certification is desired, and membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association is required.
