Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant..
Recent experience in acute medical/surgical nursing..
Completion of a basic arrhythmia interpretation course (or equivalent education/skills/training)..
Demonstrated ability to interpret arrhythmias (VIHA Basic Arrhythmia course within past year or 75% on VIHA ECG Challenge Exam)..
Must demonstrate telemetry experience..
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing..
Ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities..
Ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal/external contacts including co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, residents, and families..
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
