Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department at Lillooet Hospital & Health Centre BC. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours. About this location/unit: Lillooet Hospital & Health Centre provides full services of medical, palliative, maternity and ER coverage. A part-time OR program is also running 3 days per week and there is also part time coverage for physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The Emergency Department has 5 beds including a cast room and treatment room and is open 24hrs. The in-patient unit has 6 beds, including medical, palliative and maternity. There are 2 RNs on shift. Amidst the rugged beauty of British Columbia's interior, you will find Lillooet; a community that beckons travelers with its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture. Known as the Land of the Gold Rush Trail, this charming town offers a glimpse into its storied past through heritage sites like the Lillooet Museum and the Old Suspension Bridge. Qualfications Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) Advanced preparation in the clinical specialty of the assigned area as required by the position: Emergency – Advanced preparation in an ED clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years

Requirements

Graduation from an approved School of Nursing. Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Advanced preparation in the Emergency clinical specialty (ED clinical specialty or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within 3 years
