Qualifications

• Education & Experience Grade 12, graduation from a recognized secretarial program, plus three years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to type 45 words per minute. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Closing Statement Please note that while there is a posting up in both Bella Bella and Bella Coola for this role, there is only one position available. However, the successful candidate may reside in either community and will be supporting two Mental Health and Substance Use teams. Occasional travel to the other community is required as part of the role. Travel will be arranged from the home community with eligible expenses reimbursed in accordance with VCH policy and applicable collective agreement(s).
