$72,751.32 - $103,661.66 annually Close Date 7/28/2026 Job Type If and As When Needed Temporary End Date 9/1/2027 Ministry/Organization BC Public Service -> Children & Family Development Ministry Branch / Division MATC Job Summary The Team The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre is a program of Provincial Services Division of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. The Maples is a designated provincial mental health facility providing on-site, community, outreach and ancillary services to collaboratively support youth, families and communities. The Maples target population consists of youth in British Columbia with significant psychiatric and/or behavioural and/or emotional difficulties, ages 12 to 17; as well as youth found Not Criminally Responsible by Reason of a Mental Disorder (NCRMD) or Unfit to Stand Trial under the Criminal Code of Canada & Youth Criminal Justice Act. Additional services include community consultation service, training/capacity building opportunities and ongoing sharing of current literature. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, our objective is to collaboratively enhance the capacity of communities to plan and care for challenging youth through a closer to home focus. The Role Under the direction of a Shift Supervisor or Program Coordinator, the Nurse 4A performs vital work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, providing direct, comprehensive nursing care to clients at The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre. Qualifications

• Education and Experience Requirements
• Registered or eligible for immediate registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• One (1) year or more of work experience in the field of adolescent psychiatry. Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
• Experience working with adolescents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.
