The community of Antigonish is seeking a full scope family physician to join a group of independent family physicians in the town of Antigonish, Nova Scotia at Main Street Family Health. duties include full scope of practice as a family physician providing care to a panel of patients Independent user on shared EMR - Telus MedAccess Cross-coverage for urgent appointments when needed the physician will be responsible to the Zone Department Head of Family Practice for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice, and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority No required call Expected Hours Full-time hours 37.5 hrs/week 46 weeks/year Remuneration $375,000 - 400,000 Remuneration type is either Longitudinal Family Medicine payment model or a Fee for Service payment model. Centrally located on bustling Main Street, above an established pharmacy, with elevator access. This recently renovated office boasts a large waiting room, admin. area, private office kitchenette. Each provider has own room that doubles as clinical assessment space. There are two experienced Medical Office Administrators, shared equally among 4 providers and provide billing support. Onsite parking for physicians and free parking nearby for patients. It is only minutes from St. Martha's Regional Hospital where ED, hospitalist, OR assist options are available. In office procedures as well as ability to book ambulatory care time at the hospital.
