Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Up to two (2) years recent, related experience depending on clinical setting.
Specialty unit nurse positions require area-specific specialty certification for the unit.
Heart Health nurse positions require demonstrated ability in arrhythmia interpretation (VIHA ECG Challenge exam mark of 75%).
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
Ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts including co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, residents and families.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
CRC required for professional registration (criminal record check requirement stated)
