Provide program and administrative assistance to support Community Nursing programs, services and activities at the community health centre.

Job Summary and Requirements This posting This posting will be used to fill 1 permanent full-time positions working 75 hours bi-weekly.
It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.
This job is based in the community of Old Crow in the beautiful Yukon.
Housing is not provided
Experience providing client-centred services in a front-facing public environment.
Experience providing a broad range of administrative support in an office environment, including answering phones and directing calls, collaborating with other offices/services/supports, and collecting/processing financial transactions (e.g., invoicing, arranging, taking payments).
Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
Understanding of effective client support and confidentiality.
Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledge of electronic filing and/or patient management systems.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple demands in a busy work setting.
Ability to work with clients and members of the public who may present to the health centre while experiencing heightened levels of physical, mental or emotional stress.
