Assess and diagnose undifferentiated diseases and conditions and provide treatment within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.
Monitor ongoing care, order diagnostic investigations, interpret results, and develop tailored treatment plans.

Develop, implement, and evaluate policies related to nursing, interdisciplinary care, and health system practices.
Serve as most responsible provider for patients in palliative, hospice, and long-term care settings when required.

Interior Health is hiring a Permanent Full Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Sorrento. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in an established and welcoming environment to clients of all ages at the Sorrento & Area Community Health Centre in Sorrento, BC. The NP will work with an established patient panel spanning all age groups, ensuring continuity of care, and fostering strong provider-patient relationships within the community. The Sorrento & Area Community Health Centre is one of many Primary Health Care Centres within Interior Health communities. These centres take a comprehensive and coordinated approach to health-care delivery, offering a range of services in a single location. Patients can access care from a variety of providers, including family health-care providers, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and public health nurses.
