Temporary summer positions have the potential to become permanent in the fall.
The position entail working within a support team in a day program/centre, community settings, or group home settings; assisting adults who may have physical, developmental, mental health issues, and/or acquired brain injuries. Applicants must possess exemplary communication skills, be compassionate and energetic, and be comfortable supporting individuals with various disabilities.
The Canada Summer Jobs program duration is July 20th until August 29th and requires applicants to meet the following eligibility criteria:
be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;
be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend work. (The Employer reserves the right to make changes to your schedule as per the collective agreement).
Compensation: $21 per hour
Start ASAP until August 28th, 2026
