Deliver professional primary medical care as part of a Nurse Practitioner-led clinic interdisciplinary team.
Provide health education programs to the community.
Utilize medication administration, medical asepsis, catheterization, and IV training/education skills.
Support patient care in a primary care setting.
Demonstrate compassion, accountability, rights and responsibilities, excellence, and safety
Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Successful completion of an approved RPN program.
Completion of Medication Administration for R.P.N.’s, medical asepsis, catheterization and IV training/education (with previous experience using these skills).
Valid Ontario driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and access to a vehicle (travel required).
Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, performance levels, disciplinary history, and positive work references.
Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs.
Courses in Behaviour Approach (e.g., P.I.E.C.E.S, GPA or restorative) would be an asset.
Primary care experience would be an asset.
Previous experience in nursing skills pertinent to acute care would be an asset.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination before commencing employment (exceptions may be made for legislated protected reasons).
Clear criminal/vulnerable sector check as a condition of employment
