Job Details This role is in support of Cencora’s patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business.
Responsibilities
Administer medications (IM, SC and IV as applicable) in home care or specialty clinic settings Support/monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in the clinic and/or homecare setting Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures Provides reliable availability based on the agreed upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance Indicators. Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information Perform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering and other duties as assigned Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards. Participates in specialized client related trainings as required. Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs Required to travel within you’re designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet the operational need (ie. Innomar Prince Albert or Innomar North Battleford) Required to follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and Work Instructions. Required to follow all Health and Safety standards as per the provincial Health and safety Act. Required to complete ongoing and annual education training as per the training matrix within the specified timeframes. Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by the professional associations, regulatory bodies and the company policies and procedures Perform related duties and tasks as required by Innomar May be required to be on standby/on call to meet the service needs. Required to provide availability for all the operational shifts (Days, Evenings, and Saturdays) This role is a Full Time contract/temporary position to replace a materity leave until 25/September/2027.
Education
Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical practice, health sciences, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Skills and
Knowledge: 4+ years of experience in in nursing, clinical services, care coordination, patient support, clinical documentation, or a related field required. Professional license or registration in nursing in the applicable jurisdiction of practice required. Certification in clinical services, care coordination, patient safety, or equivalent preferred. Certification in case management, clinical documentation improvement, healthcare quality, or equivalent preferred.
