Community Occupational Therapist - Fraser Valley, BC

We are seeking an occupational therapist to join our team in delivering collaborative, relationship-based occupational therapy services in the community. As a self-starter with integrity and accountability, the successful candidate would have the opportunity to develop a holistic occupational therapy practice with mentorship and support from our leadership team. Meet clients where they are at, in their homes, workplaces, communities, or virtually.
Form relationships built with trust, seek to understand factors and facilitators relating to a client access to, initiation of, and sustained occupational participation.
Collaborate with clients, employers, funders, and health care team members in designing and delivering tailored occupational therapy services to promote return to work, reintroduction of everyday occupations, and well-being.
Connect with team members and team leaders to innovate and improve the quality of the healthcare services we provide.

Candidates must be graduates of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy and registered with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC. Experience in the private sector, particularly with mental health and brain injuries, is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
