Chairside Dental Assistant - 11940 - Brampton, ON

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HARP Certified Chairside Dental Assistant to join our busy Oral Surgery and Endodontic specialty clinic in Brampton on a full-time or part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized dental environment, supporting surgical and endodontic procedures and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses strong clinical skills, familiarity with dental software, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health. Prior experience in dental assisting specifically with endodontic procedures will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
• Assist the endodontist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear operative field
• Manage patient records using our practice management dental software
• Take and develop dental radiographs using digital technology when necessary
• Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral health maintenance
• Support front desk by ensuring that accurate treatment planning is communicated
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure safety and efficiency

Experience

• Previous experience in dental assisting, preferably within oral surgery and endodontics, is highly desirable
• Proficiency with dental software is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Certification or training in dental assisting is required (Level II preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Schedule

Our office hours are Mondays through Friday 8

00am to 4:00pm. No weekends. Please note that hours are subject to change based on the doctor schedule and availability.
