Interior Health is seeking applicants for an exciting opportunity as a Health Care Assistant! If you are interested in an opportunity to provide patient-centred care, this opportunity may be for you! This is a fully funded training pathway toward becoming a Health Care Assistant through an accredited post-secondary Health Care Assistant program. Not only is the tuition fully funded but you receive a wage while you go to school! Applicants are hired to start their education in a Health Care Assistant training program at a partnering post-secondary institution. The training program will be delivered over the course of 6-8 months. Once the program is completed the candidate will apply for their BC Care Aide registration. Upon completion and registration, candidates are expected to complete a paid one year return of service with Interior Health. We are currently seeking interested candidates for training positions in the following communities: Nakusp, Grand Forks, Trail, New Denver, Kaslo, Clearwater, 100 Mile House, Ashcroft, Merritt and Lillooet.
