Reporting to the Director of Health and Healing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Home Care is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to community members in accordance with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) Standards of Practice. The successful candidate will deliver client-centred care that promotes health, independence, dignity, and an enhanced quality of life.
Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including the Registered Nurse (RN), physicians, and other healthcare professionals, the Home Care LPN provides comprehensive nursing services such as client assessments, treatment, medication support, health education, chronic disease management, wound care (within scope of practice), and ongoing home care services. Through a shared-care approach, the Home Care LPN plays an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of community members while fostering respectful, culturally safe, and compassionate care.
Copies of the Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Child Intervention Record Check are required at the time of interview.
