In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position dispenses, manufactures, packages, labels, stores, and distributes pharmaceuticals and prepares intravenous (IV) and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) solutions. Records narcotic and controlled drug use and maintains stock control. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:00 to 16:00 Qualfications
Grade 12, graduation from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant course plus two years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to type.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
