In Ontario, support-services roles in healthcare are typically in steady demand because facilities need reliable staff who can help keep patient care moving. These positions are competitive when candidates bring hands-on training, current Basic Life Support certification, and a valid driver’s license; a high school diploma is required, and Medical Assistant, EMT, or CNA preparation is preferred.
