Successful completion of a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
Current license or eligibility for membership with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Resident Physiotherapist).
Current membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Physiotherapist).
Passed the written component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (Resident Physiotherapist).
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Current CPR basic rescuer certificate.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and maintenance of high professional standards.
Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references.
Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs.
minimum of two years’ experience in physiotherapy.
experience teaching and supervising rehabilitation assistants and students.
Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) experience.
experience conducting musculoskeletal assessments.
