As we prepare to open the Ng Siu Chan Centre, our newest long-term care home, we are seeking passionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers who want to help shape the culture, resident experience, and care environment from day one.

The Personal Support Worker (PSW) will provide personal care to assist clients in their daily activities and personal hygiene. The PSW will support the clients' physical, social and emotional needs in a safe manner, in accordance with the organization's resident-centred approach, complying with relevant government standards, residents' rights and the organizations mission and philosophy.
Considerable standing, walking, lifting and bending
Exposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact.
Ability to work evenings shifts, including weekends and short shifts. May be required to work an alternate shift(s) to meet operational needs (e.g., emergency, training, accommodation, etc.) as per scheduling practices

Must be a graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario with a current CPR certificate. Experience in long-term care and registration with HSCPOA are preferred assets.
