About the Role

As an Associate Dentist in Canada, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality dental care to a diverse patient population.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice dentistry in Canada, including registration with the relevant provincial dental regulatory authority.
  • Successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) certification process.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in general dentistry, including restorative and preventive care.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian dental regulations, standards, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary dental practice or community health setting.
  • Additional certifications or training in specialized areas such as sedation dentistry, orthodontics, or implantology.
  • Proficiency in Tracker dental practice management software and digital imaging technologies is a benefit
  • Participation in continuing education courses and professional dental associations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures.
  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges with precision and care.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with dental team members to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
  • Stay informed about the latest dental research, techniques, and materials to enhance clinical practice.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety regulations within the dental office.
