Rooted in strong partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations, we provide flexible, evidence-based mental health supports tailored to the unique needs of each child, youth, and family. As a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, we are committed to person-centered care that spans early intervention through to long-term treatment for individuals up to age 19. The Role As a CYMH Clinician, you’ll support the mental wellness of children, youth, and families through direct clinical services such as intake, assessment, treatment, suicide risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis intervention for ages 0–18. Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, Educational Counselling, Clinical Counselling, Clinical Psychology, or Child and Youth Care (or comparable Master’s-level graduate degree in a similar subject).
Minimum 1 year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families providing community-based mental health services.
Preference for 2+ years of such experience.
If degree obtained outside Canada, confirm equivalency assessment through ICES.
Maintain a valid B.C.
Class 5 driver’s license.
Complete required criminal record checks (CRC and CRRA)
