About the role

Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy services within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Perform assessment and develop treatment plans.

Prescribe equipment as needed.

Educate clients and/or caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes.

Participate in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities.

Provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant within the team

Position Summary

We are hiring for a permanent part-time 0.50fte Physiotherapist for the South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver. Applicable positions may qualify for up to $10,000 as a recruitment incentive and/or be eligible for relocation allowance. Apply today! About the Role

The Physiotherapist functions both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. These include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program development, consultation, equipment prescription, and education for clients and/or their caregivers to support functional independence and optimize health outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Physiotherapist contributes to departmental and professional goals by participating in quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and educational activities. They also provide guidance and direction to the rehabilitation assistant working within the team. Other activities include cycling, hiking, wildlife viewing and horseback riding. Qualfications Full licensee as a Physical Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Valid BC Driver’s license where required.
