Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant..
Basic Life Support (Level C) required..
Recognized post-basic education required for clinical areas (or equivalent combination of education and experience)..
One year's recent related experience (note: critical care/specialty units require two years' recent related experience)..
Temporary part time RN position in the Emergency Department; must have ER Nursing Theory Level 1 (or equivalent education/experience)..
Must pass the Island Health Basic Arrhythmia Challenge exam with a grade of 75% or greater..
Emergency Room/critical care relief pool roles require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (if applicable to the specific unit/role).
