As an Occupational Therapist on the assessment team, you will work closely with the Neurologist in a collaborative assessment process to determine patients’ recovery needs.
Work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team including physiotherapists, psychotherapists, neuropsychologist and psychologists.
Provides Occupational Therapy services in keeping with the College guidelines and Essential Competencies, for clients with deficits in areas of occupational performance
Participates in Professional Practice meetings as required
Supervises support personnel, students and volunteers as appropriate
Participates in program planning, continuous quality improvement and evaluation, thereby contributing to the overall vision/mandate of Trillium Health Centre and Occupational Therapy Services
