The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $27-$33/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Please note that this is a replacement job opening.

Your role

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

About you

  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
  • Previous dental assisting experience is required
  • NDAEB certification is required
  • Previous Ortho and Invisalign experience is preferred

Requirements

Must be a Registered/Certified Dental Assistant with NDAEB certification and previous dental assisting experience. Proficiency in Orthodontics and Invisalign is preferred.
