Plans and provides direct nursing care to clients/patients in the Oceanside Health Centre s Urgent Care and Medical Day Care or Chemainus Community Health Centre, Urgent Care in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standards for Nursing Practice.
Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
Two (2) years' recent related experience in emergency, urgent care, or medical day care clinical areas.
Clinical knowledge and skills related to Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Medical Day Care programs.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
Ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts (co-workers, physicians, community agency representatives, patients, residents, families).
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
