Your Day-to-Day
Assess residents’ needs and develop individualized care plans.
Promote and address the physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being of residents.
Provide care and perform procedures within the defined scope of practice as outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation.
Coordinate and schedule medical appointments for residents.
Communicate regularly with families to obtain consent and provide updates on resident care.
Supervise Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to ensure all personal care meets Ministry of Long-Term Care regulations.
Deliver specialized care, including wound management, ostomy care, injections, palliative support, and nail care.
What You Bring to the Team
Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario, or proof of application from another Canadian province or territory.
Valid CPR certification, renewed annually.
Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
