About the role

Provide clinical leadership over dietetic care services following evidence-informed best practices and government legislation. Support a resident-centered approach to optimize the physical and mental well-being of seniors.

Assists the Executive Director in providing clinical leadership over dietetic care service that complies with evidence informed best practices, relevant government legislation, policies and standards that reflect the organization's resident centred approach, vision and strategic direction.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Dietetics or Applied Human Nutrition, (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in Ontario in good standing Minimum 3 years experience, including experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Long Term Care Excellent client/customer service skills Demonstrated ability and experience in building relationships, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary team. Excellent presentation skills Excellent problem recognition, analysis and resolution skills required Excellent time management skills required Computer literacy required. Knowledgeable in long-term care mandatory assessment tools and reporting such as RAI-MDS 2.0 Recent satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen result Working Condition: Exposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact Occasional shift work, including days, evenings, and weekends Occasional travel and on-call responsibilities #INDSV Please apply before: 2026-07-19

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Applied Human Nutrition and a valid Registered Dietitian license in Ontario. Minimum 3 years of experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation, and Long Term Care is required.
