Position Summary

We are hiring for a permanent part-time (0.73 FTE) Registered Dietitian for the Royal Inland Hospital. Days of work: Tuesday through Thursday and every other Monday Shift time: 08:00-16:00

About the Role

As part of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Dietitian provides nutrition care and support to patients, residents, and groups in accordance with established standards. This role includes conducting assessments, developing care plans, monitoring progress, and delivering counseling and education. The Dietitian collaborates with other health professionals, contributes to practice guidelines and quality improvement initiatives, and advises food service staff on patient care and menu development. Qualfications Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics. Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility). Full licensee as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred. Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.

Successful completion of an accredited hospital-based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).

Full licensure as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).

One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred.

Valid BC Driver’s License may be required
