  • Remuneration: Competitive and negotiable The opportunity TELUS Health Care Centres is looking for Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our dynamic North Vancouver team. You'll provide high-quality preventative primary care alongside Family Physicians, Nurses, Kinesiologists, Dietitians and other healthcare professionals. We believe patients thrive when they receive comprehensive, personalized care that includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing support. We've seen that proactive follow-up leads to better outcomes because it strengthens patient engagement and builds stronger therapeutic relationships. What you’ll do Preventative Primary Care As a Nurse Practitioner on our team, you'll care for patients of all ages using a holistic, family-centered approach.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities include: Assessing patients, ordering diagnostic tests, performing procedures, and prescribing treatments based on current evidence Providing both episodic and longitudinal care Following up regularly with patients to promote health, prevent disease and support self-management Collaborating with nurses, physicians and allied health team members to deliver team-based care Making referrals to specialists when appropriate Delivering specialized care in areas like prenatal care, pediatric health and wellness, and chronic disease prevention and management. What you bring Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree, or equivalent, post-Master’s diploma - Nurse Practitioner (PMD) Current registration as a practicing Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) Active, unrestricted provincial license with required prescribing and lab numbers Active CPR AED Level C certification 2+ years of primary care experience Experience in chronic disease prevention and management Additional training in primary care procedures relevant to practice is an asset Ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactive/preventative care Exceptional organizational skills, with a positive and results-focused attitude Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and patients Ability to provide technology-supported care, computer competency and familiarity with EMRs Commitment to provide comprehensive patient-centered care that focuses on an exceptional customer experience and the best possible outcomes Who is TELUS Health? Requirements

Requires a Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner degree and current registration with the BCCNM. Candidates must have at least 2 years of primary care experience and active CPR AED Level C certification.
