Lifemark Health Group is seeking a personable and confident Registered Clinical Counselor to join our awesome team at our Lifemark Harvey Avenue Clinic. The primary focus of this position will be to work in a multidisciplinary treatment program. Based on the applicant’s skills and interests, other roles for this position could include providing services to mental health clients funded by third-party insurance programs (eg., long term disability, ICBC, and/or WorkSafeBC); supporting other multidisciplinary programs at the clinic (eg., occupational rehabilitation or concussion recovery); or providing services to private mental health clients.

• Clinical Counsellors must have a Master’s degree in Counselling/ Clinical Psychology and be registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counselors
Experience
Training and/or experience with evidence-based treatment for PTSD.
Experience in case conceptualization and treatment of a range of mental health symptoms with a variety of adult clients.
Have clinical knowledge in the areas of grief/loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment issues.
Knowledge of psychological management of chronic pain and head injury/concussion management an asset.
Experience working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team.
Experience preparing assessment, progress and discharge reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills, solid judgement, and integrity.
