The Echo Technologist is responsible for preparing patients for scans, performing diagnostic procedures, and monitoring vital signs. They must also ensure equipment maintenance, perform quality control assessments, and organize reports.
Candidates must be ARDMS or Sonography Canada certified with registration with ACMDTT and a current CPR certificate. Proficiency with Philips iE33, GE Vivid s6, and GE Vivid E9 machines is required, with stress and contrast echo experience as an asset.
