The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients and families in Oncology, Hematology, and Nephrology. Responsibilities include maintaining professional competence, facilitating a team environment, and participating in quality improvement and research.
Candidates must have current CNO registration, a Vulnerable Sector Check, and BCLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, APHON certification, and experience in pediatric hematology and oncology.
$41.15-$58.98

POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge related to assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients and families in Oncology, Hematology & Nephrology. QUALIFICATIONS Vulnerable Sector Check (Essential) Current Ontario Registration with the CNO (Essential) Current BCLS certificate (Essential) Two (2) year paediatric experience (Preferred) 6 months of Hematology & Oncology experience (Preferred) Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (Preferred) APHON certification (Preferred) Bilingual (English/French) (Preferred) *Please note you will be represented by the Ontario Nurses Association (ONA).
