Right now we’re looking for a Registered Nurse to work in our Acute Geriatric Inpatient Medicine Unit/Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) – 12East Employment Status: Temporary Full-time Duration: January 2027 Reporting Relationship: Manager of 12 East & West

Hourly Rate

$41.15 - $58.98 Union Group: ONA Hours of work: Rotating shifts, 12 hours, days/evenings/nights/weekends Location: Humber River Health, Wilson site Position Responsibilities: R.N. responsibilities general medicine and geriatric inpatients. Care planning and coordination of care with various team members. Utilization of computerized systems for patient care documentation. Participation in project teams or hospital committees as required. Resource/team leader responsibilities. Mentorship of new hires and pre-grad nursing students.

Qualifications

Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario Current BCLS certification. 2 years of recent medical/surgical experience. Demonstration of critical thinking and prioritization skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with multidisciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors. Excellent organizational skills and problem solving skills. Demonstrated patient assessment skills (Advance Physical Assessment) Excellent attendance and discipline free record required. An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset. Requirements

Requires current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and BCLS certification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent medical/surgical experience and strong patient assessment skills.
