  • Company Description Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR), a Spectrum Health Care Company is seeking Registered Occupational Therapists in Clarington to provide high-quality, ministry-funded occupational therapy services to adult clients in the community.
  • This independent contractor role offers a highly flexible work schedule, with part-time or full-time opportunities based on your preferred case load.
  • Compensation is per visit, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, client-centred care.
  • Estimated annual earning potential is between $82,000 - $102,000, however actual earnings may vary based on service volumes.

Job Description

Provide ministry-funded, community-based occupational therapy services in clients’ homes and/or through virtual care Conduct occupational therapy assessments using interviews, standardized tools, and informal assessment techniques, including: Home safety and home modifications Equipment prescription Fall prevention Mobility and physical functioning Cognition Stroke rehabilitation and chronic conditions Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers Assign, supervise, and monitor occupational therapy assistants as appropriate Educate clients and caregivers and connect them with relevant community agencies and resources Complete funding applications when required Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation, including: Assessment findings Care plans Progress and discharge summaries Reports aligned with referral source requirements and COTO standards
