- Competitive wages About the Job The Registered Nurse:
- Supports the client’s achievement of safe, realistic, and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client
- Develops, implements and adapts a care plan, delivers direct care, assesses service eligibility and provides care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting
- Enhances quality of life for the client and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
- Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
- Maintains and advances own clinical competence
- Participates on designated committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned Time Limited is short-term, goal-oriented nursing care delivered in a home setting to support recovery, stabilization, and transition to independence or ongoing care. Duties include, but are not limited to, nursing assessments and interventions, simple and complex wound care, tube and drain care, compression therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, IVAD maintenance care, burn care, case management. The population is varied and includes all ages. This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis. Shifts of work will be scheduled days and evenings rotating from 08:30 to 16:30, 16:00 to 22:30 hours.
