Pharmacy Technician I - PRN Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Alliance 10864 Texas Health Trail TX 76244 Work hours: PRN rotating shifts, weekends required, holidays required. Shifts may vary from week to week.   • Education · High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience · 1 year of inpatient experience preferred Licenses and Certifications · RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required And Other IV Certification Upon Hire Preferred What You Will Do · Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location. · Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation.
  • Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives. · Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time. · Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors.
  • Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel. · Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. · Other duties as assigned.
